Kevan Lingard

International Keyboard/Piano Vocalist and Entertainer and former member of Herman’s Hermits

Kevan Lingard was born in Accrington in 1958 and began learning the piano at the tender age of 9.

At the age of 14 he formed his first band “Legend” with fellow schoolmates Merv Goldsworthy [FM] and Graham Dean [Joe Loss Orchestra].

On leaving school Kevan joined local semi-pro outfit “Mercury” and performed at venues throughout the Northwest UK.

At the age of 21 Kevan quit his full time Job as an electrician and turned professional, performing at venues throughout the UK and stints overseas including Malta, France, Spain, and Norway.

Alongside performing live music, Kevan signed up with Laine management in Manchester – appearing regularly in Coronation Street, Brookside, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, TV dramas and commercials.

In the early 90’s Kevan joined “The New Amen Corner” and toured with them for 5 years and in 2004 Kevan was invited to join legendary 60’s band “Herman’s Hermits” and spent the next 12 years globetrotting with numerous tours of Australia, America, Europe, Scandinavia, and UK, working alongside many named bands and artists from the 60’s 70’s & 80’s. They would perform up to 200 shows a year as well as TV and radio appearances.

After 12 great years of being on the road with Herman’s Hermits Kevan made the decision in 2017 to move on and re-invent his solo career, playing and performing the music he loves best. A brand-new chapter has begun…!!

All the Way

Lady is a tramp

Fly me to the moon

Come fly with me

New York

My way

L.A is my lady

My kinda town

Have you met Miss Jones

Something stupid

You make me feel so young

Beyond the sea

Mack the knife

I’ve got you under my skin

Let me try again

One for my babe

When I fall in love

That’s life
