Winner of Best Guitarist at the prestigious European Blues Awards Virgil McMahon, solo performer and lead guitarist of cult blues/rock band Virgil & The Accelerators has performed on stages across the globe, wowing fans and fellow musicians alike with his jaw dropping guitar playing and live performances.

Born in South Africa and partly raised in the UK, Virgil was discovered at age 12 by Blues music great Otis Grand and has since gone on to play alongside the likes of Blues and Rock titans such as Joe Bonamassa, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Uriah Heep, Wilko Johnson, Johnny Winter, South-Side Johnny and The Asbury Dukes & Michael Schenker.

Virgil is available for hire as solo acoustic/electric performances as well as with a full band. Please enquire within for more details.
