******I have had the pleasure of knowing Chris just over a year now since he offered to be ‘The Host’ at Wales first survivor led domestic abuse conference which took place on Friday 13th September 2019. Domestic Abuse and Violence isn’t an easy topic to talk about, but Chris handled the whole day with professionalism, empathy and gave the day the sensitivity that it so rightly deserves. Not only did Chris engage and handle the survivors with such compassion and kindness but he also was just superb when introducing and talking to professionals in the field, i.e., Police and Crime Commissioners, MP’s, and a Dame! Chris was magnificent in bringing everyone together. I was so impressed with Chris’s ability to engage with all walks of life and topics I asked him to host this years Stand Up to Domestic Abuse Zoom20 Taster and he will also be ‘The Host’ of my Charity Event in 2021 where we were joined by Actor Michael Sheen and Rachel Riley. Chris has a magical ability to bring everyone together, he really does light up the room with his professionalism, empathy, and humor.

We hired Chris as the Host for our collaboration event, Summer Start Up Week June 2020. A virtual start up week organised by 23 Enterprise Champions from Colleges and Universities across Wales, inspiring 566 aspiring entrepreneurs to develop their knowledge to start a business. One of the reasons we chose Chris as our host was that he is bilingual, and able to host the week in both English and Welsh, as required by the Welsh Language Policy. However, Chris’s wealth of experience hosting was evident from the get go, his mannerisms and ability to think fast and intervene at the first sign of any issue was invaluable.  Chris ability to be adaptable to those he is interacting with and his a welcoming nature made our guest presenters and participants feel at ease and encouraged engagement throughout all of our sessions so that all attendees got the most out of the programme which span over 5 days.

Chris has fantastic communication skills, prior, during and post the event, offering support and working with the organisers to make the event as seamless as possibly. I cannot recommend Chris highly enough; we have already booked him for future events, if it were not for his input our award winning start up week would not have been as successful. Kelly Jordan, Entrepreneurship Officer, Swansea University

Chris recently helped us as MC for a new student facing event we ran to showcase the services of the Careers, Study Advice and Library Services at University of South Wales.  He masterfully managed to align the agendas of all 3 services in a seamless and engaging way, offering both personal and professional reflections.  This had to all be done online and with a degree of flexibility as we did not want the content to be overly scripted, to encourage interaction and impact.  Chris very much held the whole thing together, offering the event a clear sense of direction and purpose.  We will be very keen to do a lot more with Chris in the future.”.
